Organized by Research Center of Deliberative Democracy of Stanford University and co-organized by ERS e-Research (Lab) and Macao Polling Research Association, the DP workshop was successfully held Macau Grand Lapa Hotel with the purpose to introduce different public consultation methods, discuss the nature and progress of public consultation and examine how deliberative polling is used to resolve the difficult issues. DP cases of different countries are shared and the response of the government, media and public is also explored. About 20 representatives from different communities, associations, or as individual participated in this event. After the learning and discussion lasting for one day, they all expressed their further understanding of DP.
